Shampoo - Redefined

Writer's picture: Erez SimonErez Simon

Winter has returned, and there’s nothing like a nice warm refreshing shower on a cold rainy day.

My family and I usually share the same shower, but it happens that from time to time, one of the kids will use the bathtub instead. When this happens, I sometimes find myself in the shower left without my favorite shampoo or body soap. Ahrrrr!!

Sustainable Shopping Made Simple

I usually use the popular Head & Shoulders shampoo and Dove soap, which my kids fancy as well, but I recently discovered a unique brand (and experience) which caught my attention.

Ethique, an eco-friendly solid shampoo bar. The idea of a shampoo bar baffled me. I wasn’t sure how to use it, so I looked it up and found this Wiki. Problem solved!

It gets rather easy to use once you get the hang of it. Will the kids prefer this over their good old Head & Shoulders? Time will tell. But one thing’s for sure: My scalp is going to be uplifted with cocoa butter, peppermint oil and a generous dose of fair-trade Samoan coconut oil that will cleanse and smooth my hair shaft without weighing strands down.
